Big Congratulations to Mike Walther for completing his first Ironman race, IronMan Florida, on November 1st, 2008. Mike planned and trained for over a year for this event and I'm super proud of how well he did. It takes a lot of dedication and commitment to compete and train for an Ironman, and Mike definately has what it takes! Congratulations Mike!

Current and former Steel City Endurance Athletes Storm the 24 Hours of Big Bear with two first place finishes! Carol Clemmens (Ms. Cookie) (Dirt Rag, Pittsburgh, PA) improved on her lap times from last year with dedicated training to win the Women's Solo division. Congratulations, Ms. Cookie!

Todd Schoeni (Pro Bikes, Pittsburgh, PA) and his rigid singlespeed team also took place in their division. Congratulations guys.

Holly Forsythe (Pro Bikes, Pittsburgh, PA) valiantly continued to race despite multiple injuries occuring at the end of the first lap. She managed another 55 miles following her injuries before having to pull out of the race.

Congratulations to all the Steel City Endurance athletes and their team members for a great showing!

Steel City Endurance Athlete Carol Clemens, racing for Dirt Rag, wins her first race of the season - 12 Hours of Santos. She turned one hour laps for most of the event and despite stiff competition, she was able to maintain an 8-10 minute lead in the last 4 hours of the race. Carol's dedication to training is paying off early this year and hopefully the trend will continue. Read more about Carol's training on her blog, I ride to work and I work to ride

Testimonials

These [trainer workouts] are great! I have been behind the ball on my training this year, I appreciate so much you sending this to me. I actually never had an organized program like this. I just went out and rode my bike not understanding how to get stronger, faster, or gain more power. So thank you for this.
