I also REALLY like that I have a coach that is thinking outside the box.  As someone who is paid to think outside the box and go the opposite direction of many in the same industry I really appreciate it when I see someone doing the same thing.  I detest doing things for the sake of tradition (only) or because that is what everybody else is doing.

I've been feeling really good workout-wise.  Almost too good.  The 4 hr rides I've done were really easy ( physically and mentally), compared to when I would do long rides in the past and even when you had me doing long rides to prepare for Big Bear.  The intervals have been good.  Although those VO2 intervals are brutal.
