Recreational ride: A more relaxing, shorter ride (8-14 miles), intended for less experienced riders.  The ride leader will stop and wait for riders to regroup along the ride.

Advanced ride: A longer, faster ride, geared towards the more serious cyclist, covering 16-25 miles.


Both groups generally meet at a coffee shop at the end of the ride!

A yahoo group 'cyclepgh' has been established to facilitate communication.



A blog has been created for general messages, and as a means of helping people get together for rides other than Wednesday. Please use the email link below for blog posting, and questions.  When sending an email be sure to include if your ride is special interest ; you all have mountain bikes and are going off-road, you all have racing bikes and are staging a mini Tour De Pittsburgh.
